Helen’s sporting history is long and varied having played hockey to representative level, squash competitively and basketball, netball, indoor netball, touch and indoor cricket socially

Lately Helen’s focus has changed to individual pursuits and she has completed the Kepler Challenge 60km mountain race, Christchurch Half Marathon (twice), Sydney City to Surf, Mud Sweat & Tears, Spring Challenge Womens’ Adventure Race and the Motatapu Wanaka to Arrowtown MTB race. She has entered the Motatapu again in March 2011.

Helen is a keen trainer and mixes a bit of biking and running with outdoor fitness training with 'Get Me Fit'.

While not quite as prolific as Helen, Brent is also a sporting nut. Having played, coached and refereed rugby, he is now heavily involved with rugby administration at club level. 

He played bowls to representative level but retired when he got too old! Brent now tries to stay fit with a mixture of biking, gym and boxing and has competed in Le Race (twice) and the Motatapu MTB race which he has also entered again in March 2011.

His younger years saw Brent playing squash and indoor cricket in competitive grades and Touch in the social grades.
